Print Assistant–£735.84 Per Week- Flintshire
The Role
Do you have experience working in a fast-paced factory or print environment? Are you confident using systems like D-365 or Chronos and happy to get hands-on wherever needed? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you.
We are looking for a reliable and flexible Print Assistant to support our busy Print Department. Â You will assist Printers with setting up and running print presses, while also keeping the area organised, stocked and safe. This is a hands-on role that involves working alongside Printers, operating and maintaining equipment and helping with general tasks across the factory.

This is a full-time position, working 36 hours per week (2 shift or 3 shift – Tuesday to Thursday or Monday to Friday)

Key Responsibilities:
- Loads sheets into presses and adjusts feeding mechanisms to ensure continuous running
- Ensure sufficient board is available
- Scan all material into D-365 / Chronos system
- Moves unprinted and printed product around the factory/department as required
- Operation of the pile turner (ensuring lock off procedures are adhered to)
- Perform press maintenance and general housekeeping of the work area
- Provide general assistance to Printers and other areas of the factory as required
- Maintain a clean, safe working environment
- Cover board warehouse when required.

The Person
- Competent in using M.I.S (D-365 / Chronos system skills are an advantage)
- Offset/print experience (Highly desirable)
- FLT license (Highly desirable)
- Able to demonstrate a proactive approach.
- Self-motivated and forward thinking.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines with flexibility and enthusiasm.
- Lithography printing knowledge / experience very desirable.
- FLT licence (or previous) very desirable.
