  • Shift Pattern: Week 1: 06.00 - 14.00 (5 days) and Week 2: 14.00 - 22.00 (5 days)
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Pay: £12.67 per hour + 10% shift premium (£13.93 per hour)

Essential Criteria:

  • Valid FLT Counterbalance License

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience with Side loader
Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate processing machinery and material handling equipment safely and productively, adhering to high standards of workmanship to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Recognize relevant product ranges to facilitate prompt and accurate material selection and processing.
  • Support maintenance activities to optimize productivity.
  • Implement continuous improvement and problem-solving techniques to enhance machine availability.
  • Recommend improvements to production control procedures to meet team performance objectives.
  • Handle all materials, including checking stock records, labeling, and storing them according to commercial requirements and Tata Steel policies.
  • Actively engage in personal development plans to maximize performance and contribute to the succession needs of the business.
  • Share knowledge of processes and activities with team members in a structured manner to support operational and development goals.
  • Ensure compliance with Tata Steel's health and safety, quality, environmental, and corporate policies in all operations, including those undertaken by third-party service providers.
  • Contribute to team-level annual operational and financial budgets to secure necessary resources for achieving work programs.
  • Organize stocks and maintain accurate records to ensure optimal productivity and safety.
  • Play a vital role within the team and site context to achieve optimal performance.
