The Net Zero consultancy team help to remove barriers to decarbonisation through adapted, energy transition strategies. They support this transition through strategic consultancy and analysis. Responsibilities • Contributing to innovative projects focused on transitioning the energy system to a Net Zero future.• Deliver and support projects that focus on understanding impacts from the decarbonisation of other sectors.• Help to increase investor confidence and increase the adaptability to future legislation.• Work closely with distribution networks, planning authorities, generators, energy users and research bodies.• Attend industry forums, client presentations and conferences.• Identifying challenges facing the energy sector and delivering projects that take solution through from conception to implementation. • Working with a diverse team to develop opportunities into potential projects.• Analyse, interpret and present findings from large datasets.• Manage small projects to ensure that needs of the client are met on time. The Person• Educated to degree level or equivalent in Scientific or engineering discipline.• Experience working with a distribution network, consultancy or energy industry business.• Ability to interpret technical challenges facing the energy networks and their customers.• Ability to bring new working methods, techniques and processes to the team to support delivery of future projects within the Net Zero Transition area. • Excellent communication, presentation skills and strong analytical skillset• Understanding of the commercial aspects associated with developing and delivering projects. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills - in particular, an ability to present a line of reasoning clearly and conciselyImportant Information: We endeavour to process your personal data in a fair and transparent manner.
