Join a leading aerospace manufacturer as a Quality Line side Engineer based in Broughton, supporting production teams in maintaining high standards of product quality and safety. This is a hands-on, shop-floor-based role focused on operational surveillance, process improvement, and root cause analysis.

Initially candidate with be on a standard day shift (no uplift), once fully trained they will move to the below shift

Double day shift pattern (alternating weeks)

  • Week of mornings - 6:00am - 1:10pm
  • Week of afternoons - 1:30pm - 8:40pm
  • 20% shift uplift


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct operational surveillance across process, product, and personnel.
  • Lead investigations into quality issues and drive corrective actions.
  • Manage non-conformities and support shop floor teams with quality expertise.
  • Promote Foreign Object Damage (FOD) prevention and predictive quality activities.
  • Coach operations teams on quality best practices.


What We're Looking For

  • Strong background in quality engineering within aerospace, automotive, or large-scale manufacturing.
  • Hands-on experience preferred over formal qualifications.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and team-oriented approach.
  • Commitment to product safety and customer satisfaction.


Role Details

  • Location: Broughton (onsite only)
  • Shift Pattern: Double day shift (alternating mornings/afternoons) with 20% uplift
  • Duration: Until 08/09/2026 (with potential extension)
  • Security Clearance: BPSS+ (handled by employer)
