Venn Group EHS (Environmental, Health and Safety) Manager BPSS 12-Month Contract On-site in Chester£40 per hour (Inside IR35, Umbrella)
Our market-leading client require an EHS Manager to join them on a long-term contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure risk controls and legal compliance across FMRE operations and service providers, including CDM and Building Safety Act requirements.
- Conduct EHS inspections, audits, and contractor pre-qualification reviews.
- Advise on health, safety, and environmental aspects of strategic projects, including design and feasibility stages.
- Investigate incidents effectively and ensure implementation of corrective actions.
- Promote EHS culture through KPIs, training, inductions, and awareness campaigns across all organisational levels.
Skills/Experience Required:
- NEBOSH General Certificate (minimum) and experience in Facilities Management safety practices.
- Strong understanding of EHS legislation, standards, and risk assessment techniques.
- Demonstrated experience engaging stakeholders in fast-paced, safety-critical environments.
- Experience in auditing, compliance monitoring, and contractor management.
- IOSH membership (desired) and a proactive, autonomous working style with strong team collaboration.
