As a Computer Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that ignite curiosity and prepare students for success in a rapidly evolving technological landscape. You will teach Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, helping them to develop not just coding and programming skills but also critical thinking and problem-solving abilities that are essential in today's tech-driven society.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach Computer Science across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.

Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons using the latest technologies and resources.

Foster a love of technology, coding, and problem-solving among students.

Assess, monitor, and report on students' progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance.

Encourage students to develop practical skills through hands-on projects and real-world applications.

Promote digital literacy and support students in building their technical expertise.

Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the Computer Science curriculum.

Engage with parents and guardians to keep them informed of their child's academic progress.

About You:

A qualified teacher (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).

Strong subject knowledge in Computer Science, with the ability to teach up to GCSE level.

A passion for technology, coding, and innovation.

Experience using various programming languages and tools (e.g., Python, Java, Scratch, etc.).

Excellent communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate students.

A problem-solving mindset and a creative approach to teaching.
