Are you a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer who loves solving problems, driving projects, and making real improvements on the shop floor?
We’re working with a well-established engineering business in Chester looking for someone to lead manufacturing projects from concept through to implementation. You’ll be at the heart of improving processes, working closely with production, quality, and supply chain teams.
What you’ll be doing:
- Leading manufacturing projects (including capital investments)
- Improving processes, tooling, and instructions
- Supporting lean initiatives like 5S, TPM and PFMEAs
- Modifying moulds/tooling to resolve production issues
- Helping reduce waste, improve flow, and boost quality
What we’re looking for:
- HNC/HND or above in Engineering
- Project leadership experience
- Solid understanding of lean tools & ISO9001
- Confident reading engineering drawings
- Great communicator who can work across teams
