Aspion Search is partnering with a long-established engineering manufacturer to hire a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer. The business operates across multiple UK sites and is known for excellent staff retention and strong technical capability.

The Role of the Manufacturing Engineer:

The Mechanical Design Engineer will work closely with the operations and manufacturing teams to support ongoing production and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities of the Manufacturing Engineer:

  • Updating and maintaining existing engineering drawings
  • Providing design and manufacturing support for day-to-day production
  • Delivering cost reduction and capital project work
  • Supporting quality systems and maintaining accreditations
  • Promoting safety and continuous improvement across the site
  • Troubleshooting and driving practical engineering solutions

 

About the Manufacturing Engineer:

  • Degree-qualified or time-served Mechanical Engineer
  • At least 2 year’s experience in a mechanical/manufacturing environment
  • Comfortable with manual calculations/engineering maths.
  • CAD skills (SolidWorks preferred, but other 3D CAD considered)
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems beneficial
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
  • Motivated, physically active, and team-oriented
