The Opportunity

You will be working on behalf of CAF Rail Services to provide repairs and light maintenance to a fleet of trains. 

Contract Length: 6 Months, Inside IR35

Location (s): Chester

Key Role and Responsibilities

  • Mechanical repairs
  • Inspections
  • Completing general vehicle checks, including re-filling washer fluids 
  • General maintenance to rolling stock units 

Essentials

  • NVQ Level 3/ City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent
  • Mechanical understanding
  • Flexible to work a variety of shifts; including lates and weekends
  • Enjoy working as part of a team

Desirables

  • Commutable to Chester
  • Rolling stock or light rail experience is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of Trackside safety
