Are you a passionate and creative English Teacher looking for a new stimulating and rewarding role for the Autumn 2 term?

Academics are seeking a Music Teacher to work on a full-time basis within one of our client secondary schools in the Chester area. This is initially for the first term but likely to be extended into the spring term. This is a full-time position and offers a unique opportunity to inspire and educate young minds in music up to GCSE.

As a full-time Music Teacher you will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging and comprehensive lessons to students aged 11-16. You will work closely with a dedicated Music department, collaborating on curriculum planning, assessments and extra-curricular activities. The successful Music Teacher will join a team of passionate educators dedicated to providing the highest quality education to their students.

Your new Music Teacher role will require you to:

  • Teach Music up to GCSE
  • Develop and deliver creative and interactive lessons
  • Plan and implement a diverse range of teaching
  • Inspire and motivate students to reach their full potential

To work as a Music Teacher through Academics, you will need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Proven experience teaching Music across KS3 and KS4
  • Strong subject knowledge
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • The ability to build positive relationships with students, staff and parents
  • An enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be willing to get one (cost applied)
