Corrective Technician
Location: Chester
Shift Work: Flexibility Required | 40 hours per week | PAYE
We are seeking skilled Corrective Technicians to ensure a newly introduced fleet of trains meets performance expectations. Your primary focus will be fault finding and corrective maintenance, resolving warranty issues and ensuring all trains are fully operational before entering service—helping to reduce delays and cancellations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct fault diagnosis and corrective repairs on electrical systems within the new fleet.
- Utilize diagnostic software and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematic diagrams to resolve issues efficiently

Ensure trains are fully operational before entering service.
Requirements:

NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical/Electromechanical Engineering.

Proven experience in rolling stock maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on passenger trains.

Strong ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams for troubleshooting.

Expertise in diagnostic tools and electrical fault resolution.
