Job Title: Learning Support Assistant (LSA)

Salary: 90 - 100 per day
Contract Type: Temporary - short term and long term roles
Hours: Full and part time roles
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) - Level 2 or 3 to join a dynamic team in a local school in the Chester area.
The ideal candidate will provide high-quality support to children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), helping them to achieve their full potential both academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support individual pupils and small groups in line with their educational plans.
- Assist with implementing targeted learning interventions.
- Promote positive behaviour, inclusion, and social development.
- Record progress and contribute to assessment reports.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCO, and other staff.
- Support the development of pupils' independence and confidence.
Requirements:
- Level 3 qualification in Learning Support, Teaching Assistant, or equivalent.
- Experience supporting children with SEND preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping children achieve their potential.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
