About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant (LSA) - Level 2 or 3 to join a dynamic team in a local school in the Chester area.

The ideal candidate will provide high-quality support to children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), helping them to achieve their full potential both academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support individual pupils and small groups in line with their educational plans.
  • Assist with implementing targeted learning interventions.
  • Promote positive behaviour, inclusion, and social development.
  • Record progress and contribute to assessment reports.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCO, and other staff.
  • Support the development of pupils' independence and confidence.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 qualification in Learning Support, Teaching Assistant, or equivalent.
  • Experience supporting children with SEND preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping children achieve their potential.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
