We are partnered with a mainstream Primary School in Chesterfield who are looking for an experienced Administrator to join their team in Jan 2026 to cover maternity leave.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and proficiency in administrative systems, playing a vital role in supporting our mission to provide tailored educational experiences for young people.

You will be joining a very welcoming team on a full-time basis, working Monday-Thursday 08:00-15.00 Friday 08.00-16.00 (Term Time only).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and support visitors, parents, and students with warmth and professionalism.
  • Professionally manage incoming calls and correspondence, directing inquiries to the appropriate team members.
  • Keep student records and databases up to date using school management information systems.
  • Use school-wide systems to facilitate effective internal and external communication.
  • Coordinate and support school events and activities as needed.
  • Carry out general administrative tasks, such as filing, photocopying, and data entry.
  • Work closely with teachers and staff to ensure the efficient operation of the provision.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Prior experience as a School Administrator using SIMS
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Access and other office software
  • Experience in a school environment or educational setting
  • Ability to manage administrative tasks efficiently
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact with students, parents, and staff
