Are you an experienced Quality Engineer looking for an exciting new opportunity with a growing and innovative company? We are recruiting for a Quality Engineer to join a leading manufacturing business based in Chesterfield.
The Role:As a Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving quality standards across production, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and customer requirements. Your responsibilities will include:
Developing and implementing quality control processes.
Conducting root cause analysis and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Managing audits (internal and external) and ensuring adherence to ISO standards.
Working closely with production teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
Handling customer and supplier quality concerns, implementing corrective actions.
Maintaining and updating quality documentation and reporting systems.
Experience in a Quality Engineer or similar role within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
Knowledge of ISO 9001 and other relevant quality standards.
Strong problem-solving skills with experience in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with teams at all levels.
Background in automotive, aerospace, precision engineering, or general manufacturing is advantageous.
Competitive starting salary of £38,000 per annum.
