About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to join a Social Housing team and lead the design and delivery of vital housing projects in the Derby area at a competitive salary of 40,000 annually.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a real impact on the local community through the management and oversight of residential developments, refurbishments, and ongoing maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • As a Structural Engineer, ensure all work complies with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Manage technical aspects of projects, including reviewing plans, calculations, and specifications.
  • Conduct site inspections and liaise with contractors, architects, and project managers to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Communicate with key stakeholders to ensure project objectives align with community needs and expectations.

To Thrive in This Role, You Will Need:
