The work schedule is Monday to Thursday from 6am to 4pm, with regular overtime available and every Friday off.

At Metalis, we are currently recruiting for experienced Platers to join a well-established company within the heavy steel industry based in Chesterfield

The Role

Plating and welding heavy steel components
MIG welding on structural steelwork
Fabrication and assembly to engineering drawings
Working with large-scale, heavy steel structures
Maintaining high quality and safety standards

The Candidate

Time-served Plater Welder or equivalent experience
Strong background in heavy/structural steel fabrication
Confident reading and working from engineering drawings
Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently
Welding qualifications desirable but not essential
