My client is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer / Electrical Engineer to join their marine equipment manufacturing team in Chesterfield.

This is a hands-on position that offers the opportunity to work on multiple projects and develop new products in the marine sector.
The salary for this position ranges from £40,000 to £50,000, depending on experience, along with a yearly bonus and generous holiday package.
Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience and must reside within a commutable distance to Chesterfield.

I am looking for an Electrical Design Engineer / Electrical Engineer to join my client a specialist manufacture of Marine Equipment at their offices in Chesterfield. This is a hands-on technical role and the successful Electrical Design Engineer / Electrical Engineer will need to have experience within the Marine industry. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a company developing new products, you will have the opportunity to work on multiple projects within the marine industry.

This is an onsite role in Chesterfield, the successful candidate must live within commutable distance of Chesterfield.

Package:

40,000- 50,000 Dependent on Experience
Yearly Bonus
23 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays
Early Finish on Friday

Responsibilities:

Design and develop electrical control systems and schematics for marine equipment
Produce detailed technical drawings and documentation
Collaborate with mechanical engineers and project managers to integrate electrical designs
Ensure compliance with relevant maritime industry standards and regulations
Provide technical support during manufacturing, testing, and commissioning phases

Requirements:

Proven experience in electrical design, within the marine industry
Proficiency in CAD tools, AutoCAD is essential
Strong understanding of electrical safety standards and practices
Experience working within the marine industry
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Equivalent Experience
