Your Role
As a Technical Support Specialist, youll play a key part in building and maintaining trust in the companys range of sustainable heating systems and services. You will:

  • Respond to technical enquiries before and after sales, including troubleshooting, spare parts support, and general product information.

  • Provide expert assistance to professional installers and field engineers, taking ownership of queries through to resolution.

  • Collaborate with the wider technical support, service, warranty, customer service, and sales teams.

  • Identify and report on recurring issues or emerging trends to relevant departments.

  • Offer feedback to internal training teams to enhance technical training materials.

  • Stay current with industry regulations, including Building Regulations, British Standards, and related compliance guidelines.

  • Assist installers with guidance on technical standards and documentation.

  • Prepare accurate project documentation, quotations, and system calculations in line with industry requirements.

  • Utilise internal systems to manage tasks, maintain records, and support reporting.

  • Contribute to ad-hoc projects and initiatives within the technical department as needed.

What Were Looking For

  • Strong IT, communication, and organisational skills, with a customer-focused mindset.

  • Previous experience in technical fault finding or diagnostics is desirable.

  • A background in domestic heating, gas, or electrical sectors is highly beneficial.

  • Clear, confident communication in written and spoken English.

  • Ability to interpret manufacturer guidelines and industry regulations accurately.

  • Awareness of Building Regulations, British Standards, and codes of practice related to plumbing, heating, and electrical systems.

  • Practical or theoretical knowledge of heat pump systems is a bonus, but not essential.
