Description
- Manage and support a team of four Accounts Assistants
- Oversee all transactional processes, including purchase ledger, sales ledger, cashbook, and bank reconciliations
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely posting of all transactions
- Ensure VAT returns and other statutory submissions are accurate and submitted on time
- Implement and maintain strong financial controls and efficient processes
- Oversee financial reporting and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Prepare and manage budgets to support the organisation's strategic goals.
- Analyse financial data to provide insights for decision-making.
- Manage cash flow and optimise financial resources effectively.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial processes.
- Monitor and control costs to enhance profitability.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements.
- Provide leadership to the accounting team and support professional development
