Description

  • Delivering accurate and timely monthly/annual group financial accounts (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
  • Managing a small finance team across four entities and overseeing day-to-day finance operations.
  • Leading reconciliations, internal controls, tax and VAT compliance, and statutory reporting.
  • Supporting the implementation of a new ERP system.
  • Preparing audit files and liaising with external auditors.
  • Providing insight and commentary on variances and financial performance.
  • Identifying operational efficiencies and contributing to strategic financial planning.

Profile

A successful Group Finance Manager should ideally be:

  • A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with solid experience in financial management.
  • Highly numerate, analytical, and commercially astute, with an eye for both the detail and the bigger picture.
  • Experienced in producing group financial accounts, managing audits, overseeing tax compliance, and leading month/year-end processes.
  • A confident leader with the ability to motivate and manage a small team while also working independently.
  • Tech-savvy, especially with Excel and accounting systems. Experience with Navigator and ERP implementation is a bonus.
  • Organised, flexible, self-motivated, you will be comfortable adapting to a growing and changing business environment.
