Bench Operative
Location: Chesterfield
Starting Salary:£11.55 p/h
Hours:Shifts, Days (Full time Monday to Friday)
Contract:12 weeks temp to perm position
Reporting to: Operations Manager
Generation People is currently hiring for a Bench Operative to join a manufacturing company based in the Chesterfield area.
This role is suited to someone who has passion and commitment to produce high quality wooden products with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Key Duties as the bench operative:
- Produce high quality, accurate and timely work to meet client demands and tight deadlines.
- Assembly work
- Use of hand tools and power tools
- Proactive team player and committed to continuous improvement.
- Manual handling and transportation of products around the warehouse
Candidate Skills & Requirements:
- FLT Counterbalance licence advantageous
- Minimum 1 years experience in joinery or bench assembly advantageous
- Assembly experience
- Use of hand tools and power tools
- Experience of working with and around wooden products
- Reliable and punctual
- Great attention to detail
