The School and Role

This large primary school is part of a Multi Academy Trust is passionate about the quality of care they provide for their pupils. The school has a strong leadership team and dedicated staff who have a real pride in their aspects of teaching and learning. The academy trust has a clear vision for developing all children into confident, successful, and motivated learners, and with a feeling of being safe and respected. The successful SEND Teaching Assistants will be working full time in a local primary school. Anyone who has worked with children with SEMH (Social, Emotional Mental Health issues) ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) EBD (Emotional Behavioural Difficulties) would be ideal for this role. The role requires a committed, empathetic, enthusiastic, and resilient Teaching Assistant with great communication skills that has experience working with children with behaviours that challenge. You will be able to engage children that have become disengaged from education and encourage and offer them support and guidance.

Requirements

The desired Teaching Assistant will have;

-          Experience of working with primary school aged children

-          Experience of working with pupils with SEND

-          A passion for the progress of primary school pupils

-          An ability to work as part of a team
