Metalis are currently working alongside a specialist manufacturing business based within Chesterfield, who due to expansion are looking for a Mechanical Fitter to join the team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Mechanical assembly, stripping down and repairing of equipment
Building sub-assemblies for material handling equipment
Working from engineering drawings & specifications
Testing of equipment
Adhering to health and safety regulations
Use of hand & power tools

The ideal candidate will have:

Previous experience in a mechanical assembly or fitting role
Hands on and supportive of wider business
Wanting a long-term career

Working Hours:

Days only
Monday - Friday. 7:30AM - 5PM
15.00ph - 16.00ph
