Family Law Solicitor/Fee Earner – Derby
A well-established Derby law firm is seeking a Family Law Solicitor or Fee Earner (3–5+ PQE or equivalent) to join its busy and supportive Family department.
The Role:
You will work on a broad range of family law matters, with direct client contact and the opportunity to undertake court advocacy. The caseload will cover:
- Divorce and separation
- Financial settlements
- Children matters
- Domestic abuse cases
- Legal aid family work (desirable but not essential)
This is a hands-on role where you will be expected to manage files independently, while also working closely with the wider team to deliver an exceptional standard of client care.
About You:
- Qualified Solicitor or FCILEx (3–5+ PQE or equivalent experience)
- Strong track record in family law, including client advice and representation
- Confident advocate with experience in court proceedings
- Organised, commercially aware and able to handle a varied caseload
- Experience with legally aided matters is desirable
