Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Location - Chesterfield (S41)Working Hours: 3 shifts rotating- Days, afters, nights

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Duties:

  • To carry out breakdowns and preventative maintenance on equipment as part of the PPM scheme
  • Working with the Electrical Engineer on shift to assist with project work and compliance when needed
  • To produce a daily report of work done, spares used, follow up as required

Experience/ Skills 

  • NVQ Level 3 or above in Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience doing both preventative and reactive maintenance
  • Understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
