The Client
Our client is a reputable main contractor who operates nationwide and works alongside councils and housing associations. This contractor is working on a large Refurbishment scheme in Chesterfield for 6 weeks but could be extended.
The Role
This role is working in tenanted and void properties, main duties include:
- To provide a full range of Plastering and associated works.
- Carry out additional general maintenance works such as, rendering, tiling, basic joinery, basic plumbing and decorating.
- Complete all works in compliance with RHL standards, operational procedures and times scales set by RHL management team.
- To fully understand and comply with Safe Systems of Work and Risk Assessments
- To have the ability to undertake dynamic risk assessments when attending ad-hoc work.
- To regularly work alone in void or occupied properties.
- On occasion working in tenanted properties ensuring excellent customer care is provided.
- To occasionally work at heights from scaffold platforms, ladders or steps.
- To be fully competent in the use of technology required to complete works including scheduling software, accessing systems for information relating to warning markers or asbestos data and recording information for completed works.
The working hours are 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm with a 30 minute break.

Requirements
- Previous experience as a Plasterer
- Level 2 in Plastering
- CSCS Card
- Social housing experience
- Own transport
- Excellent customer care skills
- Own Tools
- Must be able to provide 2 x check able references if you haven't worked with Fawkes & Reece before
