Elevation Recruitment Group are partnered with a leading business in their search for a SHEQ Coordinator for their Head Office in Chesterfield. In this key role, you will provide essential administrative and coordination support to the SHEQ, Logistics, and Operations functions, ensuring the smooth operation of systems, the delivery of accurate reporting, and the promotion of continuous improvement in safety, quality, environmental performance, and compliance.Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Collect, process, and analyse SHEQ data, providing reports to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Supporting online systems, including managing access, building dashboards, and logging incidents.
  • Deliver coaching and training to system users, including new starters and line managers.
  • Maintain incident records, follow up on assigned actions, and assist with low-level investigations and risk assessments.
  • Administer the Lone Worker system and ensure appropriate safety protocols are in place.
  • Lead site safety activities including safety inductions, fire drills, evacuation tests, and issuing Permits to Work.
  • Oversee building facilities activities including coordinating work permits and remedial work.
  • Act as document controller for SHEQ content, ensuring all documentation is up to date and properly maintained.
  • Support the SHEQ team in preparing policies, processes, Toolbox Talks, bulletins, training materials, and customer questionnaires.

  • A confident, proactive team player with strong organisational skills.
  • High attention to detail, delivering accurate, timely, and well-presented work.
  • Strong competence in Excel (for data analysis and dashboards), Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Previous experience in a facilities administration.
  • Ideally, holds a safety qualification (IOSH or NEBOSH).
