Long Term Futures is recruiting a Maths Teacher to join a welcoming Alternative Provision in Chesterfield. This rewarding role supports KS3 and KS4 students who have struggled in mainstream education.
The Role:
- Plan and deliver engaging GCSE Maths and Functional Skills Maths lessons.
- Teach small groups (around 10 students) for a more focused and supportive environment.
- Differentiate lessons to meet a variety of learning needs and abilities.
- Build strong, positive relationships to encourage students back into education.
- Work collaboratively within a small, experienced team committed to student progress.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching Maths at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- A flexible and resilient attitude with a passion for supporting young people with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs).
- Excellent behaviour management and interpersonal skills.
- A full UK driving licence with business insurance (essential).
