Your new roleAre you an experienced procurement professional with a flair for strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management? A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a commercially astute Sourcing Lead to join a forward-thinking organisation based in Chesterfield.

In this key role, you'll take ownership of the end-to-end supplier sourcing process, working closely with internal stakeholders to identify, assess, and onboard suppliers that align with the organisation's quality, cost, and delivery expectations. You'll be instrumental in shaping sourcing strategies, managing supplier performance, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and ESG standards.

Your day-to-day will include managing RFI/RFP processes, conducting supplier due diligence, analysing procurement costs, and supporting risk management initiatives. You'll also collaborate across departments to ensure seamless supplier integration and alignment with financial planning and sustainability goals.What you'll need to succeedTo succeed in this role, you'll need at least five years' experience in sourcing or procurement within the financial or professional services sector. Strong negotiation skills, a strategic mindset, and excellent communication abilities are essential. Familiarity with procurement tools, financial reporting, and ESG integration will be highly advantageous, and professional certifications such as CIPS or CPSM are a plus.
