Key ResponsibilitiesOn-Site Customer Support
  • Dispense ink in line with the daily production plan(s)
  • Move product to and from machines (if applicable)
  • Book back press returns into the dispense management system
  • Place press returns in clearly marked locations
  • Re-work press returns where possible
  • Cluster press returns into common running colours
  • Place weekly material orders using the provided order form
  • File all delivery notes for month-end consignment stock count
  • Book new deliveries into the dispense management system
  • Replenish material stocks on the dispense management system
  • Arrange uplift of empty containers or waste ink, ensuring containers are safely palletized and lids secured
Ink Blending & Production Support
  • Observe all customer and Flint Group health & safety rules and policies
  • Ensure ink area complies with customer hygiene accreditation requirements
  • Maintain dispensing equipment and work area with good housekeeping practices
Technical Support
  • Update and maintain digital colour database and recipes within the dispense management system
  • Update and maintain X-Rite (iQC) with existing and new colour standards
  • Support on-site colour corrections and basic troubleshooting on press
Ink Management
  • Capture and action all Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)

  • Good colour vision and strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills; able to perform duties independently
  • Ability to work under pressure and demonstrate added value to the customer
  • Strong IT skills and problem-solving ability
  • Methodical and tidy work habits
  • Full, valid driving licence required
Compensation
  • Annual Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 (depending on experience)
  • Annual Leave: 25 days per year (pro rata)
