Are you a Welder/Fabricator with MIG and Stick experience looking for a highly varied role where every day is different, split between workshop and field-based working on exciting bespoke projects across the UK?
In this role you will be 50/50 split between the workshop and on customers sites across the UK. You will be travelling with a Machinist to assess customer's needs, then head back to the workshop to relay the brief to the design team, and finally work alongside the Machinist to produce and fabricate the needed components.
You will be welding and fabricating primarily mild and stainless steel, creating anything from 4 inches to 1 metre in diameter, using a mixture of MIG and Stick welding.
Founded 20 years ago, this machining and fabrication company are specialists in their niche field, boasting a 'right first time' philosophy and continuous development for all their staff. They supply into the food processing and power industries, providing services for Blue Chip clients across the UK.
This role would suit a Welder/Fabricator with MIG and Stick experience looking for a completely different role which gets them out the workshop and into the field.
The Role:
- Welding and fabricating bespoke, one-off parts and components
- Using MIG and Stick techniques on mild and stainless steel
- Split between workshop based (50%) and travelling to customer sites (50%)
- Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm, 37.5 hours a week
- 16 - 18 an hour DOE
