CMA is delighted to be supporting a well-established and highly respected firm of accountants with offices across the South East, who are looking to recruit an Audit Senior for their growing team based in Chichester.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious qualified accountant to take ownership of audit assignments, work closely with clients across a range of industries, and develop leadership skills within a collaborative and supportive environment.
What will the Audit Senior role involve?
- Leading audit assignments from planning through to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget and to quality standards
- Delegating and reviewing work prepared by Audit Semi-Seniors and Assistants
- Acting as the main point of contact for clients during audit fieldwork, ensuring proactive and professional communication
- Preparing audit completion documentation, including going concern assessments and compliance requirements
- Supervising, coaching and developing junior team members
- Supporting business development through networking, contributing to pitches and cross-referrals across the wider firm
Suitable Candidate for the Audit Senior vacancy:
- ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent) or final stage studier with experience in audit within a UK practice
- Demonstrable experience of leading audits from planning through to completion
- Strong technical knowledge of audit, accounting and compliance requirements
- Excellent organisational and communication skills, able to manage multiple clients and deadlines
- Previous experience supervising and mentoring junior staff
- Strong IT skills including use of audit software and Microsoft Office
