Are you an experienced Site Manager with a strong background in high-end residential construction? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading contractor delivering exceptional private homes across the South East. The Role: You will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of a prestigious new build residence in West Sussex, managing the project through to completion in Summer 2026. The project includes a basement structure and is currently in its early stages, with demolition already complete. You will:
  • Manage all on-site activity and ensure the build is progressing according to programme
  • Coordinate subcontractors, trades, and suppliers to maintain a smooth workflow
  • Ensure the highest standards of workmanship, quality control, and attention to detail
  • Oversee site health & safety, risk assessments, and compliance with company procedures
  • Report progress regularly to senior management and work closely with the client team
  • Work collaboratively with the wider delivery team to troubleshoot issues and avoid delays
Requirements:
  • You must have proven experience delivering high-end residential projects, ideally new builds in the £5m+ range
  • You must have excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • You must be able to read and manage construction programmes effectively
  • A strong eye for detail, particularly with finishes and architectural features, is essential
  • You must hold valid SMSTS, First Aid, and CSCS certifications
  • Experience working on basement structures or complex detailing is a strong advantage
