Site Manager / Construction Manager required in Chichester
GVR Solutions are a currently representing a well-established and leading Bespoke Super prime Residential contractor, based in London, who are in the market for an experienced Site Manager / Construction Manager to join their team. Their scope of works is mainly in the Luxury/Bespoke Residential sector.
Project: Bespoke, Luxury New Build property in Chichester
Project Value: 8m project value
Project info: Currently and groundworks / slab stage, 13,500 sq ft, 12 bedrooms, 16 bathrooms and master suite situated over 4 floors (inclusive of basement) wine cellar, gym, sauna, steam room, external barn conversion, staff living quarters
Project length: 18 months left on the project
As Site Manager / Construction Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Heading Site meetings reporting to the Project & Contracts Managers
- Arranging and issuing the sample submissions for sign off.
- Day to day running of all projects with all the Site teams.
- Creating a working program for both internal and external use.
- Site reporting weekly to the internal team and the client.
- Health and safety files created and maintained during the works.
- Visit all sites for our weekly toolbox talk meetings.
- Look after the budgets for each project and report to directors.
- Applying for all variations on each project and receiving the site instructions required.
Requirements for the role of Project Manager:
- Degree Qualification in Construction Management
- Must have experience working on Luxury Residential New build and refurbishment projects
- Experience working on for a well-established Highend Residential contractor
- Experience working on new build and refurbishment project
- NVQ Level 6 preferential
- Certificate/SMSTS
- Gold/Black CSCS card
- First aid at work
