Electrical Design Engineer

We are seeking to appoint an Electrical Design Engineer to join a forward-thinking Multi-Disciplinary Design & Build consultancy who are at the forefront of electrical design engineering, shaping the future of the construction industry!

We’re looking for enthusiastic Electrical Design Engineers to join our clients growing team. The roles are open to candidates at junior, intermediate, and senior levels, with responsibilities tailored to your expertise and experience.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Be involved in a variety of exciting projects, ensuring compliance with BS7671.
• Gain & demonstrate expertise in BS5839-1 and security system design principles.
• Work collaboratively with architects, mechanical engineers, and construction managers to deliver integrated designs.
• Develop innovative solutions to overcome technical challenges.
• Structured training and hands-on support, and the opportunity to lead projects, and mentor junior colleagues.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in electrical design projects and a solid understanding of British Standards.
• The ability to tackle complex problems and work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
• A passion for electrical design and a willingness to learn.
• Familiarity with industry standards and the ability to grasp engineering software and tools quickly.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an Electrical Building Services Design Engineer to take ownership of all aspects of electrical building services design, ensuring excellence in technical, contractual, and administrative project execution.
