Job Title: HR Consultant
Location: Chichester
Employment Type: Full-time ideally, but happy for 30 hours a week over 4 or 5 days
Salary: ÂŁ35,000 (or pro rata)
About the HR Consultant Role:Love helping people? Enjoy a good chat (with humans and dogs)? My client are seeking a warm, approachable HR Consultant to join their team in Chichester. You’ll be the friendly face our clients turn to for HR advice, support, and a bit of positive energy. If you like building connections, sharing ideas, and making work happier, you’ll fit right in!
Responsibilities for the HR Consultant:- Be the HR superstar for their clients—answering questions, solving problems, and making their day easier.
- Help with hiring, onboarding, and making new starters feel at home.
- Advise on everything from performance to people problems (and celebrate the wins!).
- Keep their clients updated with the latest HR news and best practices.
- Pitch in on HR projects, big or small.
- Run interactive and valuable training sessions and workshops.
- Get out and about—network with local businesses, attend events, and spread the company good vibes.
- And yes, you’ll get to hang out with some office dogs (bring your own if you have one!).
- 2+ years’ experience in HR consultancy or in-house HR roles.
- CIPD Level 5 or above qualification
- You know your way around UK employment law.
- You’re a people person—friendly, approachable, and a great communicator.
- You can juggle a few things at once and keep smiling.
- You’re proactive, positive, and ready to get involved.
- Happy to work from their Chichester office and pop out to see clients now and then.
- Base salary of ÂŁ35,000 (full-time)
