Are you an ambitious Assistant Town Planner or recently qualified Planner looking to take the next step in your career?

We're working exclusively with a well-regarded planning and development consultancy based in Chichester, who are looking to grow their friendly and dynamic team with the addition of a driven and proactive Assistant Town Planner or Town Planner.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience across a diverse range of projects, working closely with experienced professionals in a supportive environment. Whether you're recently RTPI-accredited or working towards chartership, this role will offer the mentoring and exposure needed to thrive.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Assisting with and managing a variety of planning applications across the South East

  • Preparing planning appraisals and policy representations

  • Engaging with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders

  • Supporting senior team members on larger-scale projects

  • Conducting site visits and research to support planning statements and reports

What We're Looking For:
  • Degree or master's in Town Planning or a related field (RTPI accredited)

  • RTPI membership or working towards chartership

  • Previous experience in a planning role (private or public sector)

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • A proactive, positive attitude and eagerness to learn

  • Full UK driving licence preferred
