Private Client Lawyer

A well-established and reputable law firm in Chichester, West Sussex is looking to recruit an experienced Private Client Lawyer. This is an excellent opportunity for a Solicitor or Legal Executive with a minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience (PQE) to join a friendly, professional team delivering high-quality legal services to a loyal client base.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing a varied caseload of private client matters, including:

  • Wills and estate planning

  • Probate and estate administration

  • Powers of attorney and Court of Protection matters

  • Trusts and inheritance tax planning

• Providing clear, empathetic legal advice to a broad range of clients

• Maintaining excellent standards of client care and communication

• Ensuring compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements

• Supporting the wider team and contributing to business development initiatives

Requirements:

• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive in England & Wales

• Minimum of 2 years PQE in private client law

• Experience in handling a broad range of private client matters independently

• Strong attention to detail, organisational and time management skills

• Excellent interpersonal skills and a client-focused approach

• STEP qualification (or working towards) is desirable but not essential
