Liquid Personnel is currently looking for a Social Worker to join the Working Age Adults Mental Health Team at West Sussex. A dedicated and flexible individual is needed for a role that involves delivering statutory social work services to individuals accessing specialist mental health services. Key responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, and review of care plans to support individuals in managing their mental health conditions and improving their quality of life.

What will your responsibilities be?

  • Conduct in-person assessments and reviews within the West Sussex area.
  • Lead on specialist service areas such as peri-natal, early intervention, transitions, and homelessness.
  • Collaborate with carers, colleagues, and external agencies to deliver effective services.
  • Stay updated on changes in legislation, research, and best practices.
  • Communicate complex information clearly and effectively.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A degree in Social Work and at least 2 years of post-qualified experience.
  • Relevant post-qualifying training.
  • Registration with a professional body.
  • An Approved Mental Health Practitioner (AMHP) qualification or working towards it.
  • A full, valid driving license.
  • Experience working with individuals with severe and enduring mental health issues.
  • Advanced knowledge of social work practices, legislation, and risk management.
  • The legal right to work in the UK
