Senior Accounts Payable SpecialistHybrid Working - 3 Days in Office / 2 Days RemoteHours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accounts Payable professional to join a well-established and highly successful global organisation. This position sits within a small, supportive finance team and is ideal for someone looking to take ownership of the accounts payable function while progressing their career in a leadership capacity.

This hands-on role will manage the end-to-end accounts payable process, including processing high volumes of multi-currency invoices, executing payment runs, month-end reporting, and managing a junior team member. You will play a key role in driving process accuracy and efficiency, contributing to the overall success of the finance department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process high volumes of intercompany and multi-currency invoices and credit notes with accuracy

  • Perform intercompany account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies

  • Conduct monthly supplier statement reconciliations

  • Manage vendor queries and liaise with internal departments to resolve issues

  • Process and review monthly employee expense claims

  • Maintain strong vendor relationships through effective communication

  • Prepare and review monthly corporate credit card statements for accurate coding and timely posting

  • Generate and analyse financial reports as required

  • Oversee and process weekly BACS payment runs

  • Supervise and support the Accounts Payable Assistant

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a senior purchase ledger or accounts payable role

  • Strong understanding of payment processes and financial reporting

  • Previous experience in or readiness to step into a line management role

  • High attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

  • Proficient in SAP or a similar accounting system, along with MS Office
