Role: Manufacturing Associate

Location: Moderna, Rutherford Avenue, Harwell OX11 0RL (100% site based)

Rate: highly competitive and including shift allowance

Contract length: 6 months initially with the view to extend or offer a permanent role

Shift Patterns: Combination of day and night shifts so the need for full flexibility is imperative.

07:00-19:00/19:00-07:00

Responsibilities:

  • Operating production equipment in line with CGMP compliance

  • Adhering to GMP regulations at all times as well as Health and Safety legislation

  • Overseeing cleaning processes for all materials entering manufacturing suites

  • Managing accurate and up to date inventory records

  • Moving material around the site as required

  • Supporting Manufacturing needs and operations as requested by management

  • Being part of improvement initiatives within the department to maintain and exceed efficiency

  • Thinking critically, innovatively and proactively as the role will require problem solving and an entrepreneurial mindset

  • Liaising with team members and management to conduct effective handovers

Essential requirements:

  • 3+ years experience within a GMP environment and/or highly regulated industry

  • Strong knowledge of GMP legislation and compliance

  • Driving Licence and access to own vehicle

  • Degree or relevant qualification within the pharmaceutical remit

  • Considers themselves to be physically fit and able to be on their feet for the majority of the day

  • Experience and confidence using SAP platform

  • IT literacy with MS Office (Excel, Word), Smartsheet and SAP

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Considers themself to be personable, enthusiastic and a team player
