A financial services organisation based in Chippenham is currently recruiting a Financial Controller to join their team on a 12-month basis.
This role is to help manage the business during a period of structural/ownership reorganisation and is an excellent opportunity for anyone happy to commit to a contract position.
Duties will include:
- Managing a team of five, overseeing the month end process
- Produce a full set of management accounts, budgeting, forecasting
- Prepare and review accurate financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Ownership of year end and statutory accounting
- Assisting with the audit process
- Providing Group with required accounting information for reorganisation
- Ensuring company compliance with financial services accounting regulations
- Ad hoc project accounting work as requested by Group
The successful candidate will hold a professional accountancy qualification and have worked at a similar level of seniority previously. Financial services background an advantage but not essential.
