Mortgage Administrator - Chippenham (Hybrid Working) - £25,000

A leading specialist mortgage brokerage, located on the outskirts of Chippenham, is seeking an experienced Mortgage Administrator to join their growing team. This is a full-time, permanent position offering hybrid working, career development opportunities, and a vibrant company culture.

Location: Chippenham, Wiltshire (car required due to office location)
Salary: £25,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm
Work Pattern: Hybrid (2 days working from home per week)

Role Overview

The Mortgage Administrator will provide essential support to a team of mortgage and protection advisers, helping to ensure mortgage applications progress smoothly from start to finish. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to mortgage advisers

  • Manage mortgage applications from submission to legal completion

  • Liaise with clients, lenders, surveyors, and solicitors

  • Ensure all processes comply with FCA regulations and internal policies

  • Maintain accurate records in CRM and case management systems

  • Monitor and progress outstanding tasks and cases

  • Assist with general office duties and team support

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous experience in administration, ideally within financial services or mortgages

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills

  • Ability to handle multiple cases and prioritise effectively

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

  • A proactive, customer-focused approach

  • Own transport essential due to office location
