We are looking for experienced and dependable HGV drivers to join our client's Waste & Recycling team. As a Bin Lorry Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient collection of waste and recycling materials across designated routes. You will lead a crew of loaders and ensure that collections are carried out in line with company standards and health & safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive HGV refuse collection vehicles safely and efficiently on assigned routes.
- Supervise and work closely with your team of loaders/collectors.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and ensure defects are reported.
- Ensure all waste and recycling collections are completed on time and in full.
- Maintain compliance with road traffic laws, health & safety, and company procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients and the public.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence withCategory C (Class 2)entitlement.
- ValidCPC cardandDigital Tachograph card.
- Previous experience driving refuse collection vehicles is desirable, but training can be provided.
- Good communication skills and a positive team attitude.
- A strong focus on safety and compliance.

- As soon as possible. Monday to Friday 7AM to 17PM
