THE 1st LINE SUPPORT ENGINEER OPPORTUNITY:

We’re on the hunt for a personable, driven, and technically savvy 1st Line Support Engineer to join our client’s onsite team. As the first point of contact for their clients, you’ll deliver outstanding support and tackle a variety of IT challenges. From resolving email problems and resetting passwords to getting users back online, you’ll be essential in keeping things running smoothly.

  • Act as the first point of contact for technical support via phone, email, and ticketing system

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with desktops, laptops, printers, Office 365, networking, and other IT systems

  • Log, track, and update support tickets accurately, ensuring timely resolutions

  • Escalate unresolved or complex issues to 2nd Line Support when required

  • Provide excellent customer service, keeping users informed throughout

  • Assist with user account setup, permissions, and general admin tasks

  • Help document solutions and update internal knowledgebase articles

YOUR KEY SKILLS:

  • Previous experience in a 1st Line Support or similar IT helpdesk role.

  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office/365, and basic networking concepts.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

  • Full right to work in the UK is essential.
