Description

As the Engineering Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Take an active role in the overall management of the Engineering Department.

  • Lead the planning, organisation, and execution of all planned preventative maintenance.

  • Monitor engineering systems and proactively reduce downtime across all plant/equipment.

  • Maintain and review safe systems of work in partnership with H&S teams and senior leadership.

  • Oversee the storage, stock control, and ordering of spare parts and essential engineering materials.

  • Support installation and annual review of key plant and machinery; report defects where needed.

  • Contribute to developing and maintaining an asset register.

  • Work closely with Production to deliver maintenance with minimal disruption to operations.

  • Participate in daily/weekly/monthly checks and hands-on repairs as required.

Profile

As Engineering you will be able to demonstrate:

  • Experienced multi-skilled engineer with supervisory or management experience.

  • Background in fast-paced production or manufacturing environments.

  • Comfortable working with PLCs and automated machinery.

  • Proactive, solutions-focused, with a strong sense of ownership.

  • Flexible with working hours to support a 6-day-week operation.
