We're looking for a Technical Manager to join an exciting technical team at the heart of our product development and food safety standards. In this role, you'll be the go-to person for all things technical, ensuring this company meet and exceed legal, customer, and business requirements. This client supplies major retailers, food service and B2B customers, so you will need a varied background.

What you'll be doing:

  • Leading on technical requirements, supporting the QA Manager and wider teams
  • Managing allergen, CCP and validation programmes, plus technical commissioning of new products and processes
  • Developing and maintaining our HACCP system, keeping us ahead of legislation and customer expectations
  • Coaching teams to make the right calls on food safety, quality, and integrity
  • Driving continuous improvement across audits, surveillance testing and quality systems
  • Leading technically driven projects from concept to completion with internal and external stakeholders
  • Making sure our systems are aligned with BRC Global Standards and customer codes of practice


What we're looking for:

  • A strong background in food safety, quality assurance, and technical systems
  • Hands-on experience with HACCP, BRC, and food manufacturing environments
  • Strong retail background
  • A natural coach who enjoys helping teams make the right technical decisions
