Due to ongoing growth, they are looking for skilled Engineers to join their team.

The role focuses mainly on fire alarms, with additional work on access control, CCTV, and intruder systems.

Job Description:

  • Perform service, maintenance, installation, and commissioning tasks
  • Work on a variety of jobs, including small-scale works and occasional larger projects
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard of quality and safety
  • Communicate effectively with both the office team and customers
  • Attend training courses as needed to stay up to date with industry standards
  • Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills at all times
  • Participate in the out-of-hours on-call rota as part of the team’s support coverage

Person Specification:

  • Possess a full UK driving licence
  • Proven experience in the service and maintenance of fire and security systems, including fire alarms, access control, CCTV, and intruder alarm systems
  • Skilled in the installation of fire and security systems across various platforms
  • Confident working independently and delivering results under tight deadlines
  • Strong customer service orientation with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to effectively manage workload with minimal supervision
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Punctual and reliable with excellent time management skills
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and strong team ethic
  • Preferred qualifications:
  • FIA Unit 1 - Fire Detection Design
  • Units 2 & 3 - Advanced Detection Design
  • Unit 4 - Installation & Testing
  • Unit 5 - Fire Alarm
  • IPAF
  • CSCS ECS Scheme
