Electrical Technician

Astute's Power Team are partnering with an Operator within the Energy Sector, more specifically the Anaerobic Digestion sector. We are currently recruiting for an Electrical Technician to join the team on site at the Operational plant near Chipping Campden.

The Electrical Commissioning Technician position comes with a day rate from 380.00 to 400.00 per day outside of IR35.

Role responsibilities and key skills for the role:

• 
  Carry out planned preventative and reactive electrical maintenance across the AD plant to ensure maximum uptime and safe operation.
• 
  Diagnose and repair faults on electrical systems, control panels, and instrumentation associated with CHP engines, feed systems, and process equipment.
• 
  Perform inspections, testing, and calibration of electrical and control systems in compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
• 
  Support optimisation of plant performance by monitoring electrical systems and suggesting improvements for efficiency and reliability.
• 
  Work with the operations team to troubleshoot breakdowns and implement effective corrective actions.
• 
  Maintain accurate maintenance records, fault reports, and documentation within the site's CMMS system.
• 
  Assist in the installation and commissioning of new electrical equipment and system upgrades.
• 
  Ensure all work is completed in line with electrical safety standards (18th Edition / BS7671) and site-specific HSE procedures.
• 
  Collaborate with external contractors and suppliers during maintenance shutdowns or major overhauls.
• 
  Contribute to continuous improvement and reliability initiatives across the AD facility.

Location, day rate and timeframe of the Electrical Technician position:

• Chipping Camden.
• 380.00 to 400.00 per day outside IR35
• Immediate start date
• 4 months
